The Story Behind Our Wine
At G-town Wines L1 Winery, we take great pride in the quality of our wines, and we believe that the key to producing exceptional wines is to start with the highest quality grapes. Our grapes are grown in the best possible conditions and are carefully selected for their ripeness, flavor, and aroma.
Once the grapes have been harvested, they are sorted and destemmed to remove any stems or leaves, and then crushed to release the juice. The juice is then transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation, where it is carefully monitored and managed to ensure optimal flavor development.
After fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in oak barrels to add complexity and depth to the flavor profile. The length of the aging process varies depending on the type of wine, with some wines being aged for just a few months, while others may be aged for several years.
Throughout the winemaking process, our winemakers carefully monitor and taste the wine to ensure that it is developing in the way that we intend. We take a hands-on approach to winemaking, and each wine is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail.
